1. I made a paper friend the other day. She doesn’t yet have a name, but I kind of like her that way. Shes sort of aloof in the way she dances. As if she doesn’t want you to know her name. I plan on making a series of movable paper dolls over the coming weeks. Mainly because I need more friends. Info about purchasing such a friend for yourself will be posted soon.

  2. A quick sketch of my boyfriend that I drew last year. Although I’ve drawn many pictures of him since, there’s just something about this one that really captures his likeness. Although I completed the the sketch in about two minutes, I often find sketches I draw in a rush or without thinking tend to capture the true essence of the subject. Rather than if I plan ahead. Because you can’t plan art.

  3. A fossil I found the other day. Well actually its a sticker. A rather old sticker by the looks of it. I found it in the back of my wardrobe while I was having a much needed cull of my clothes. I wonder who owned you, little dinosaur sticker? Will I ever know?

  4. My current project Strange Simon (work in progress). I coloured him in this afternoon with my Faber Castell pencils. Sitting by the window and looked out above the houses, towards the city, wondering what Simon would do in a crowded place like the Queen Street Mall. I imagine he’d probably stand with his hands in his pockets, solemnly looking at all the busy people. Feeling invisible.
